Nnamdi Kanu finally regains freedom from Kuje Prison

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, finally regained his freedom around 6:40pm on Friday after he perfected all the bail conditions that were handed to him by trial Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja. Kanu and

some family members leaving prison Kanu leaving prison Kanu leaving prison Kanu who arrived the high court premises around 6:20pm in a black Toyota jeep with registration number ABC-46-MU, was formally released to Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, a Jewish High Chief Priest, Immanuu-El Shalom and a Chartered Accountant residing in Abuja, Mr. Tochukwu Uchendu. Kanu’s lawyer, Mr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor and the three sureties were at the high court registry earlier in the day to sign the necessary bail documents. However, in line with an order of the Judge, the IPOB leader was brought back to the court from Kuje prison to sign and undertaken that he would be available to answer to the five-count charge the Federal Government entered against him. Immediately he was formally released by the prison officials, Kanu was received by a jubilant crowd including his relatives. The number of people that struggled to take photograph with his at the court premises exceeded 10. “I feel good that at the end of the day we were able to effect his release from incarceration and we believe that going forward, we will be able to proper address and resolve issues behind his agitation”, Senator Abaribe told newsmen.

It will be recalled that Kanu who had been in detention since October 14, 2015, secured bail from the high court on April 25. Justice Binta Nyako said her decision to release Kanu who is the 1st defendant before the court, on bail, was based on health grounds. She cited an affidavit that was attached to the bail application Kanu filed through his lawyer, Mr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor. Specifically, the court held that Kanu must produce three sureties, including a “highly respected and recognised jewish leader”. According to the court, aside a jewish leader, Kanu must also produce a “highly placed person of Igbo extraction”, as well as “a highly respected person who is resident and owns landed property in Abuja”. Each of the sureties are to deposit N100million each. Justice Nyako had in the course of the ruling, asked Kanu to tell the court the religion he believes in, considering that one of the bail conditions would include his production of a highly placed religious leader. “My lord I believe in Judaism”, Kanu replied from the dock. “So you are a Jew then?”, the Judge queried. “Yes I am a Jew”, Kanu maintained. “Good. In that case, one of the sureties must be a highly respected and recognised Jewish leader. I must be able to know him, thank God I have been taught how to use Google”, Justice Nyako jokingly added. As part of his conditions for bail, Kanu, was expressly barred by the court from attending any rally or granting any form of interview. “I must stress it here that the defendant must not attend any rally. He must not be in a crowd exceeding 10 persons”, the Judge warned. Justice Nyako equally held that Kanu who was arrested by security operatives upon his arrival to Nigeria from the United Kingdom, must sign an undertaken to make himself available for trial at all times. Kanu was ordered to surrender his Nigerian and British international passports, even as the court compelled FG to return to him, his wedding ring and reading glasses. However, Kanu’s co-defendants, Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi, were denied bail by the court which described charges against them as “very serious”. Justice Nyako said the fact that she earlier struck out terrorism charges FG slammed against the defendants did not water-down seriousness of treason charge against them. She held that Kanu’s co-defendants did not adduce fresh facts capable of persuading the court to release them on bail.

Isiaka Adeleke Why they killed Senator – Femi Fani-Kayode

Ex-Minister for Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has alleged that some top politicians killed late Senator Isiaka Adeleke because of his gubernatorial ambition.

He recently wrote in his new piece on the death of the first civilian governor of Osun State, who died on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from alleged painkillers overdose.

He wrote: I am an indigene of Osun state. I am from Ile-Ife, the ancestral home of the Yorubas. So, whatever I am about to share with you is a product of personal experience and vast knowledge of the socio-political configuration of my state. I have to share this after deep introspection, although I am still deeply mourning the death of one of Osun’s finest and colourful politicians of all time.

1. Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke was a very popular grassroots politician

2. Isiaka Adeleke was a very generous and large-hearted man who could empty his vault for the people

3. Adeleke had gubernatorial ambition to succeed Rauf Aregbe, he’s always had it even before he defected to the APC.

4. Sometimes in 2013, Rauf Aregbesola, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief Bisi Akande cajoled Adeleke to abandon his old political party, the PDP for the APC just so that they could ride on his popularity to win elections in Osun state

5. The joker worked as Adeleke left the PDP for the APC on the promise that he would be made to succeed Aregbesola after the later might have completed his two terms of 8 years in office

6. But as usual, the trio of Rauf Aregbesola, Bola Tinubu and Bisi Akande reneged on this promise just like they did in the case of Gov. Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State in 2014

7. Unknown to Adeleke, they (Aregbe, Tinubu and Bisi Akande) have always had a different plan and the plan is that Adeleke would be prevented from getting the guber ticket

8. The belief of the trio is that Adeleke was too popular and independed-minded to be controlled by the Lagos Mafia

9. They knew that Adeleke had a winning political structure and it would be difficult to teleguide him from Lagos as they always do

10. So, Tinubu anointed Gboyega Oyetola and brought him back from Lagos to Osun State to be Chief of Staff to Aregbe overnight

11. Gboyega is Tinubu’s first cousin from Iragbiji, the ancestral home of Tinubu in Osun state

12. Gboyega was/is the business advisor to Tinubu in Lagos. He handles a chunk of Tinubu’s businesses in Lagos

13. Tinubu wanted him because he believes that he would further the perfect yeoman’s job that he made Aregbe to do in Osun state.

14. But Adeleke was proving too ‘stubborn’ and too popular for their liking

15. They used the party to warn Adeleke not to commence campaigns but Adeleke defied them

16. Adeleke had the strong backing of Gov. Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state and lately, Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State.

17. These three detest Tinubu’s godfatherim and high-handedness in the South-West, and they’ve been working well, and succeeding, in taming the monster

18. That’s why you would notice that only these three gathered for the burial rites of Adeleke in Ede

19. Did you notice that not a single high ranking government functionary from Osun state attended the Firdua prayers in Ede?

20. Did you notice that despite his popularity and strategic importance to the victory of the APC in Osun state, neither Tinubu nor Bisi Akande honoured this Osun illustrious son with their presence at the Firdua?

21. It’s all a perfected premeditated game plan.

22. First, Aregbe was told to travel out of the state, to China on a phony business trip

23. After this, the agents of darkness were programmed to strike and they did struck deep into the hearts of Osun people.

24. Almost immediately, and in order to cover their tracks, they asked Omoyele Sowore of Sahara Reporters to spine the story away from them

25. And like a loyal boy that he always is to the Lagos Mafia, he did spine it that Adeleke died of drug overdose in the hand of a ‘quack’ doctor

26. How can a doctor with over two decades experience suddenly become a quack overnight?

27. How could a doctor who had been attending to Adeleke and his family for years suddenly become a quack in the estimation of Sahara Reporters and its sponsors?

28. They killed Adeleke without blinking an eye

29. They killed Adeleke just like they killed Funsho Williams in Lagos state

30. They killed Adeleke just like they killed Dipo Dina in Ogun state

But they’ve only killed Adeleke, they’ve not killed the spirit of Osun people to liberate themselves from the yoke of the Lagos mafia. They’ve not killed Adeleke’s memories in our hearts.

‘Obama made it clear he wanted me removed,’ Ex-president says

Jonathan said Obama relentlessly shaped the opinions of world leaders against him by accusing his administration of condoning corruption

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has revealed that the immediate past US president, Barack Obama, desperately wanted him removed from office.

Jonathan said Obama made it clear that the US wanted a change of government in Nigeria.

The Obama administration was unsatisfied with the way Jonathan handled the fight against corruption, Boko Haram insurgency and the rescue of the kidnapped Chibok school girls, it was learnt.

It is believed that it was based on these reasons that the US at the time placed an arms embargo on Nigeria.

Although the US cited gross abuse of human rights by the Nigerian army as the reason for its decision.

President Donald Trump has reportedly lifted the embargo, with plans underway for the US to sell fighter jets to Nigeria to further advance the anti-Boko Haram war.

In a new book written by Segun Adeniyi and titled ‘Against the Run of Play’, which chronicles how Jonathan lost the 2015 presidential election, the ex-president said Obama influenced UK and French leaders against him.

He said, “President Barack Obama and his officials made it clear to me by their actions that they wanted a change of government in Nigeria and were ready to do anything to achieve that purpose. They even brought some naval ships into the Gulf of Guinea in the days preceding the election.

“I got on very well with Prime Minister David Cameron but at some point, I noticed that the Americans were putting pressure on him and he had joined them against me.

“But I didn’t realise how far President Obama was prepared to go to remove me until France caved in to the pressure from America.”

He said Obama relentlessly shaped the opinions of world leaders against him by accusing his administration of condoning corruption.

“There was this blanket accusation that my body language was supporting corruption, a line invented by the opposition but which the media and civil society bought into and helped project to the world. That was the same thing I kept hearing from the Americans without specific allegations,” he added.

Breasts sag when they lose their elasticity and this comes undesirable most times for ladies.

Sagging breasts happen as an aging process though in some ladies it comes faster making it droop as against it being perky and bouncy.

At this stage some ladies opt for some sort of enhancement or cosmetic surgery to keep the boobs up but some simple remedies work as well, they especially work better when done often to keep them perky even before they sag.

The Ice Massage

Ice massage is a common way that works to keep breasts perky and for sagging ones help to keep them back ‘up’. The cold temperature in the ice helps contract the tissue which makes the breasts appear firmer and more lifted.

How to:

Massage ice cubes short circular motions around each of the breasts for one minute

Dry the breasts with a soft towel and immediately wear a proper fitting bra

Recline in a position for about 30 minutes

Repeat this at regular intervals through the day

Note: Do not use ice on the boobs for more than 1 minute at a time as this can cause numbness!
